Ottawa West Golden Knights (14-7-2-1) vs Alexandria Glens (12-9-1-1) at Barbara Ann Scott Arena – 7:15

 

Tonight the Ottawa West Golden Knights take on the Alexandria Glens in Game 3 of their 4 game season series. Alexandria is coming off big two wins over Embrun and Westport. They will look to stay on a roll  going forward, as they have 26 points and are 5th in the Martin Division. Ottawa West has 31 points and are 4th place in the Martin Division after losing to Perth (3-1) last week.

The Alexandria Glens lead the season series 2-0. They are coming off two overtime victories against the Golden Knights. Luke Mulvihill is riding a 5 game point streak (5G/10P) and will be a key factor tonight. Alexandria has been hot as of late – outscoring opponents (11GF/8GA) in the past two games. Casselman Vikings (19-4-2-0) vs Char-Lan Rebels (8-18-1-0) at JR Brisson Complex – 8:00

 

In the late game, the Casselman Vikings take on the Char-Lan Rebels. This will be the first of three games in a row for the Casselman Vikings this week. Recently, the Vikings lost to the Ottawa Canadians in a close matchup (3-2) on Tuesday. The Rebels are coming off two big wins against Renfrew in OT (4-3) and Richmond in Regulation (7-5). Brennan Markell had 2 goals and 3 assists in that win.

Casselman has outscored Char-Lan (8GF/2GA) in their two matchups this season. Sebastien Plante has a 13 game point streak going into tonight with 14 goals, 15 assists and 29 Points during that time. Casselman will also have to play Winchester and Carleton Place over the weekend. This will determine if they will be tied with the Ottawa Canadians for first in the Martin Division. They sit six points back (40 Points) for 2nd in the Martin Division while Char-Lan is 7th with only 8 wins this season.
