Hawks end Golden Knights’ seven-game home winning-streak

Ottawa, Ontario – The Ottawa West Golden Knights (13-7-1) were defeated by the Winchester Hawks (7-9-2), 6-3 at the Barbara Ann Scott Arena on Thursday night.

The Golden Knights had their seven-game home winning-streak come to an end in the loss.

Graeme Rogers finished the night with two goals while Justin Jamer tallied two apples. Ottawa West out-shot Winchester 55-21 in the loss. Brent Pledge-Dickson made 50+ saves for the second consecutive game, backstopping the Hawks to their third straight win and fourth on the road.

Ottawa West is back in action tonight at 8:00 p.m., when they travel to Westport, Ontario for a date with the Rideaus. Mason Detre will be on the call. This game will also be broadcasted on CKDJ 107.9-FM as well as mixlr.com/owgkradio.
