The Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League (EOJHL) is proud to announce that the 2026 EOJHL Prospects Draft will take place on the evening of Monday, April 27, 2026, and will once again be conducted online.

The five-round draft will feature 2009-born players from Hockey Eastern Ontario (HEO), providing EOJHL clubs with the opportunity to identify and secure the region’s top emerging talent ahead of the 2026–27 season.

The EOJHL Prospects Draft continues to serve as a key step in the player development pathway, connecting elite local talent with junior opportunities and helping athletes advance toward higher levels of hockey, including both Major Junior and Junior A.

“The Prospects Draft is an exciting day for our league and our teams,” said EOJHL Commissioner Marc Franche. “It’s an opportunity to welcome the next wave of talent into the EOJHL and continue building a strong foundation for player development across Eastern Ontario.”

The draft will follow the same structure and format as previous years, including the protected player system in the opening two rounds and a standard selection order thereafter.

Additional details, including draft order and selection coverage, will be announced in the coming weeks.
